Creating stunning Arabic eye makeup can be a thrilling process, transforming your look into something truly mesmerizing. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to do it.
Step 1: Prep Your Eyebrows and Eyelids
Start by curling your eyebrows. This seemingly small step can dramatically change the shape of your face, giving your eyes a more open, awake look. After curling, grab a flat square paintbrush and some concealer. With precision, carve out your eyebrows, defining their shape. This step will make your eyebrows pop, bringing more attention to your eyes. After carving, blend the concealer all over your eyelids, creating a smooth, even canvas for your eyeshadow.
Step 2: Set and Apply Base Shadow
After blending, set the concealer with loose powder. This step will ensure that your concealer doesn’t crease or smudge throughout the day, keeping your eye makeup looking fresh. Next, pick up a flat eyeshadow brush and a white nude eyeshadow. Dab the eyeshadow all over your mobile lid, creating a base for the rest of your eyeshadow.
Step 3: Add Dimension with Color
Now, it’s time for some color. Grab a very small eyeshadow brush and a mauve-y color. Apply the color back and forth on the outer ends of your eyelids, but be careful not to bring it anywhere near the center of your lid. This step will add some depth and dimension to your eyes, making them appear larger and more defined. Blend the excess eyeshadow outwards towards your temples, creating a subtle smokey effect.
Step 4: Deepen the Outer Corners(Arabic Eye Makeup)
Next, use the same brush and a darker mauve-y color. Apply this color in the outer corner of your eyes, dabbing it so it doesn’t end up anywhere else. This will add even more depth to your eyes, making them pop even more. Afterward, clean your eyeshadow brush and lightly flick it out, blending any harsh lines and making your eyeshadow look more natural.
Step 5: Define with Black Eyeshadow and Eyeliner
Then, grab the same eyeshadow brush, but this time, you’re going to use a black color. Tap this color only on the outer end of your lash line. This will give your eyes a subtle cat-eye effect, making them appear more almond-shaped.
Now, it’s time for eyeliner. Grab a very thin eyeliner brush and a black gel liner. Keeping your eyes open, angle the direction you want your liner to sit. Draw from the point towards your upper lash line. This will create a winged liner effect, adding drama and glamour to your eyes. Now, close your eyes and stretch your eye a bit to create a very thin line along your upper lash line. This will make your lashes look fuller and your eyes look bigger.
Step 6: Add Lashes and Finish with a Pencil Liner
With your eyes open again, settle in the inner corner of your eyes with the liner. This will complete your eyeliner look. Now, it’s time for some nice, thick lashes. Apply your favorite mascara or falsies, depending on how dramatic you want your look to be.
Finally, grab a black pencil liner and apply it in your waterline.
This will make your eyes look even more defined and dramatic. Smoke out the tight line for a soft, smokey effect. Lastly, clean up any fallout from your makeup application, and you’re done!
Creating stunning Arabic eye makeup may seem like a lot of steps, but with patience and practice, you can create a beautiful, dramatic look that will turn heads wherever you go.
